Once the Sun Was Gone, a Final color change...

Beyond this point in time, the sky and the Rock both just darkened, and the color show was over until the next morning. As you can see, all of the people who had been standing at the edge of the parking area had left to return to their buses.

I walked back and joined our OAT tailgate party, celebrating the sunset with cheeses and Champagne. In retrospect, I am sorry that I did not take a picture of all the partying in the parking lot. I was surprised at both the numbers of tourists and buses drawn to watch the sunset in so remote a location.
